Noosa Bird Trail

What is the Trail?

For the benefit of international visitors, the Noosa Bird Trail is in Australia. It is in the state of Queensland, which is located in the north-east of the country. The capital city of Queensland is Brisbane, which is located on the coast in the south-east corner of the state, close to the border with the state of New South Wales, of which Sydney is the capital.

Noosa is a town on the Queensland coast approximately two hours drive north of Brisbane. It is at the northern end of a region called 'The Sunshine Coast'. It is a very popular holiday destination, in great part due to its wonderful sandy beaches, green hinterland and relaxed lifestyle.

The Noosa Bird Trail is a route between prime birding sites around Noosa and nearby towns within the Noosa region. The Noosa Bird Trail web site allows visitors to this area to prepare for their visit before they arrive and to access good birding areas with ease while they are here.
