Site Name: Mangrove Boardwalk and Weyba Conservation Park
Address: Weyba Road, Noosaville.
Directions: From Tewantin follow the Noosa River along Hilton Terrace, then Gympie Terrace and into Weyba Road. The Mangrove Boardwalk is on the right near the Noosa Arts Live Theatre and the Australian Rules Grounds just before the Weyba Creek bridge. ( Be aware there is no right turn to the parking area at this point, so cross the bridge, travel round the roundabout and return to park on the left near the football ground). Across the bridge is another small conservation area which can be accessed by walking across the famous old wooden Weyba Creek bridge, or driving around the roundabout and into Weyba Esplanade.
Description: The mangrove boardwalk is a walkway created to educate the public about the beauty and value of the mangroves. The Conservation Park is land bought with a conservation levy and contains maidenhair and tree fern. Koalas are resident in the area. The old bridge was lovingly restored by 'friends' in 1994.

Signage: Look for Queensland Bird Trails logo sign.
Parking: Public parking near the Australian Rules Grounds.
Condition: The site is suitable for all levels of fitness. Be prepared for mosquitoes!
Facilities: Tables on Tewantin side of bridge. Tables and water on Weyba Esplanade side.
