Address: Old Hollett Road, Doonan.
Directions: From Noosa, take the Eumundi Noosa Road. Pass RSPCA and Hollett Road. Exit onto Sunshine Motorway, turn left into Eumarella Road, then left into Tidswell Road. At the end of Tidswell Road (T junction), turn right into Old Hollett Road and follow it to the end.
Description: At the end of Old Hollett Road there is a, now extremely rough, track through to Lake Weyba. It was build for the nearby horse riding business and although horses still use it, it is too wet and cut up to walk safely on it. Eastern Grey Kangaroo can be seen in the grassy paddocks near the parking area. Please respect private property. Enjoy the grand old eucalyptus along the track and in spring the purple flowering hovea. Parts of Old Hollett Road are worth walking to see birds. This site has an optional, (recommended) exit. Travel past the T junction and follow Old Hollett Road to Eumundi Noosa Road.
