Site Name: Cooroora Creek Park.
Address: Hill Street Pomona.
Directions: From Old Bruce Highway take Pioneer Road into Pomona, turn right into School Street, then under the subway. Turn right and the park is on the left next to the garage. Public toilets are on the opposite corner.
Description: Public park with cement walking path, picnic tables and town water taps. Vegetation includes several big old fig trees and a revegetated creek walk. Sometimes cormorants and ducks can be seen on the pond behind the Noosa Shire Museum.
Birds: Scarlet Honeyeater in winter, Laughing Kookaburra, Emerald Dove, White-headed Pigeon, Pacific Baza. A full list of the birds recorded from this site is available within the Noosa Bird Trail bird species checklist here.
Signage: Look for Queensland Bird Trails logo sign.
Parking: Public parking is available at the entrance.
Condition: The track is suitable for all levels of fitness.
Facilities: Tables and water.
