Site Name: Kin Kin Countryside Trail.

Directions: From Tewantin take the Boreen Point Road past the Primary School. Turn left into Louis Bazzo Drive. Follow Louis Bazzo Drive to where it joins the Pomona to Kin Kin Road. Turn right and follow signs to Kin Kin township.
Description: The trail commences at the Kin Kin Sports Ground near the Kin Kin Hotel. The full circuit is 15 km over undulating countryside passing crop and dairy farms. Picnic at Shepperson's Park or Grady's Park. A shorter walk to Grady's Park, returning the same way, avoids having to walk the roads.
Birds: Topknot Pigeons and Chestnut-breasted Mannikin are abundant. Views from the top are worth climbing the hills to see. Restless Flycatcher and White-eared Monarch may also be seen at this site. Signage: Follow Noosa Trail Network 'Trail 1' signs.
Parking: Cars may be parked near the Kin Kin Hotel.
Condition: Sections of this trail requires a reasonable degree of fitness as there are some steep inclines.
Facilities: Table and water at Grady's Park, Shepperson's Park, and Kin Kin township where there are public toilets. The hotel provides good food and accommodation. The little store up the road from the hotel provides a healthy snack.
