Directions: From Tewantin, take the Boreen Point Road past the Primary School. Turn left into Louis Bazzo Drive. Follow Louis Bazzo Drive to where it joins the Pomona to Kin Kin Road. Turn right and follow the Kin Kin signs to the township. Take Sister Tree Creek Road north west of Kin Kin turning into Pender Creek Road.
Description: This part of Noosa Trail Network is through remnant rainforest, camphor laurel and lantana following a section of 'Trail 3'.
Birds:Look for Fairy Gerygone. Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove and Emerald Dove are present. Dusky Moorhen and other water birds may be seen in nearby dams. A full list of the birds recorded from this site is available within the Noosa Bird Trail bird species checklist here.
Signage: Follow 'Trail 3 ' signs.
Parking: Parking at the junction of Stratton and Pender Road.
Condition: The track is suitable for all levels of fitness.
