Site Name: Noosa National Park - headland section.
Address: Park Road, Noosa Heads.
Directions: From Hastings Street travel north east through two roundabouts. Follow Park Road around Little Cove to the main entrance.
Description: The public walking track around the headland overlooks Laguna Bay. Follow National Park signs to walk other tracks such as the rainforest 'Palm Circuit'.
Birds: Australasian Gannet, Frigatebirds, Terns, White-bellied Sea-Eagle, Osprey, and White-cheeked Honeyeater. Chestnut Breasted Mannikin can be seen in grasses on the headland overlooking Hells Gates. The White-throated Needletail is a summer visitor. Signage: Follow National Park signage and directives.
Parking: Public parking inside the main entrance.
Condition: The tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness.
Facilities: Tables, water and toilet in public park.
