Site Name: Tewantin Forest Reserve - Wooroi Day Use Area.
Address: Jack Hassett section of Cooroy Noosa Road.
Directions: From Tewantin take Cooroy Noosa Road toward Cooroy. Pass Beckmans Road on the left. The entrance to Wooroi is next on the left directly opposite 'Carramar'.
Description: Wet eucalypt forest.
Birds: Green Catbird, Wompoo Fruit Dove, White-throated Treecreeper, Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Fairy-wren, Australian King-Parrot, Tawny Frogmouth. A full list of the birds recorded from this site is available within the Noosa Bird Trail bird species checklist here.
Signage: There will be no Noosa Bird Trail signs to this forest reserve.
Parking: Public parking at the Wooroi Day Use Area.
Condition: Tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness. The 3 main tracks are colour coded and signed posted.
Facilities: Tables and water on site. Toilet at nearby service station.
