Site Name: Old Pinbarren Creek School site.
Address: Opposite Camphor Road, Kin Kin.
Directions: From Tewantin take the Boreen Point Road past the Primary School. Turn left into Louis Bazzo Drive. Follow Louis Bazzo Drive to where it joins the Pomona to Kin Kin Road. Turn right and continue until you see Camphor Road on the right.
Description: This site is well known to many local observers for the birds that visit the two huge fig trees. There is no walk. It is just a site with potential to see birds.
Signage: There will be no Noosa Bird Trail signs to this forest reserve. A forest sign 'Pinbarren Creek School' identifies the site.
Parking: Park opposite the site at the intersection of Camphor Road and Pomona Kin Kin Road.
Condition: Suitable for all fitness levels.
