Greening Noosa

• This is the planting arm of Noosa Parks Association (NPA) - supported by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council and the National Heritage Envirofund.

• The group is involved in monthly bush regeneration and removal of environmental weeds at Noosa Spit and other sites in the greater Noosa area -  often working jointly with other local bushcare groups.

• A section of Noosa woods and the Spit, known as Noosa Parks Association Park has been adopted by NPA, extending the vegetation of Noosa Woods by planting local native plants and eradicating weeds.

• NPA is committed to extending the littoral rainforest character of Noosa Woods well out onto Noosa Spit.
