Cooloola Bushwalkers

  • Ron Pitt started walking with NPA in 1986 and met former casual monthly walk leader, Sally Moroney.  In 1993, Ron with help from other walkers/leaders, produced the first yearly programme of monthly walks of 15-20 km and the name Cooloola Bushwalkers was coined.

  • Now, the group undertakes monthly bushwalking excursions, sometimes involving other activities such as canoeing/kayaking.

  • The trips are often beyond the greater Noosa area with an occasional overnight/weekend duration and extended outings further afield from time to time.  The group plans canoeing trips during the warmer months of January and November.

Outings start and depart at places and times as indicated on the Programme and NPA Events Calendar.
