group info

Greening Noosa  is the planting arm of Noosa Parks Association - supported by Sunshine Coast Council and the National Heritage Envirofund

We are continuing consolidating our efforts on Noosa Spit, getting Noosa Parks Association Park into good physical shape, by mainly weeding and mulching. In addition, we will continue assisting local community groups with their projects.

The organiser will decide the work details specifically for each workday.

Workdays are each second Sunday of the month between 8.30 am and 11.00 am.   All workdays include morning tea break with Billy Tea and light snacks.    Details are published in the local press.

For exact locations look out for Greening Noosa SIGNS on the major roads in the planting vicinity placed out on the planting morning.    A hat, gardening gloves, sunscreen and protective footwear are recommended.

Everyone is most welcome, even attending one session per year is helpful. So please spread the word.
